Von Roll

Von Roll is a Swiss holding company active in diverse fields like power generation and automotive technology.

Until 1996, their division Von Roll Seilbahnen AG was responsible for the creation of (public) transportation systems like cable cars and monorails. They created, for example, the Skyway at Disneyland. The divison was sold to Doppelmayr in Austria.
