Alton Towers postpones opening of new dark ride to 2021

The British Alton Towers Resort has decided to postpone the opening of the new themed area The World of David Williams to spring 2021. This area includes the new dark ride Gangsta Granny. The park announced this on their social media.

“We are hugely disappointed, as we know many of you will be,” states the park. The park states that they want to open the area in spring 2021 “with all fanfare they deserve.”

Theme parks in the United Kingdom are still closed due to the Covid-19 measures. It is unknown when the parks are allowed to open again.
